What’s Included:
Every program is custom, within a framework, based on each driver’s background and goals. All the logistics are taken care of, so that drivers can focus on the driving. Here are some of the details of what the programs are built around and include:
- The race prepared Ligier JSF4
- A coach working with one or two drivers
- Private race track rental
- Classroom materials
- Understanding vehicle dynamics
- Data acquisition
- On board camera/video
- Lapping sessions
- Post session data/video analysis
The Cars:
This is NOT a school car. These programs are run in a Mountune/Honda powered F4 racing car.
These are the same cars the team races in the Formula Pro USA Championships
The Tracks:
While academy programs can be run at most California tracks, the majority of the early stages are held at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA. Thunderhill provides a good combination of challenges to allow driver development. The races take place at Sonoma Raceway, Thunderhill Raceway Park, and Laguna Seca Raceway.
